Darbo pobūdis:
To manage Live Support for MDM applications under Customer Plaform • To perform environmental set up for MDM projects and to do enhancement in MDM application • Manage code migrations across development, test and production environments. • Test and deploy fixes to critical incidents quickly applications. • Prepare Tivoli (TWS) jobs and schedules definitions for the automation of jobs / shell scripts. • Implement Change Records raised by Business/Development Project Teams, within the SLAs. • Come up with creative ideas to improve the overall functioning of the processes. • Effectively liaison with peers & stakeholders • Whenever necessary provide of out of hours support to ensure smooth functioning of the application, as needed. • Understand the projects from technology, process and business perspective. • Automate manual processing if there are any and contribute in design and development of moving the application to strategic architecture and help in creation of a stable and reliable system. • 2 to 3 years of hands on experience in MDM, Java, WAS, Oracle, Shell Scripting • Knowledge on Informatica / Teradata / Abinitio would be added advantage • Good at troubleshooting and debugging the any live issues / incidents /problem • Good knowledge of RDBMS SQL and hands on Oracle database would be added advantage. • Knowledge on Incident Management, Problem Management and Change management • Production support experience for MDM applications • Ability to take up adhoc request raised by business in timely fashion with quick turn around time • Provide input into project development to ensure design meets all operation and support criteria • Ability to own live incident and drive it till closure • Ability to work proactively towards indentifying scope for service improvement and working towards those service improvements • Effective communicator (written and verbal) at all relevant levels of the organization. • Ability to plan and manage own work effectively. • Ability to work at pace, under pressure, whilst maintaining quality. • Flexibility to react to react effectively to changing priorities and to willingness to step outside of role boundaries to achieve results. • 4 to 5 years of experience in MDM enhancement / production support • Knowledge on ITIL concepts Key Accountabilities Live Support (60%) • Ensure Service are running as per SLA • Resolving live incidents / failures / issues quickly without impacting business • Ensures Incident Management / Problem management / Change management processes are followed while providing live support • Own the resolution of incidents within the agreed Service Levels • Provide long term solution for incidents and contribute towards building a very stable and reliable system • Ensure adhoc request raised by business users are addressed in timely fashion with quick turn around time Process Improvement (10%) • Work towards bringing down the incidents following problem management process • Ensure best practices are followed and Barclays standards are adhered to • Identifying areas of improvement and driving it end to end • Work towards operational efficiency in batch processing Team Management (10%) • Should have capabilities to lead the team from front ensuring failures are recovered quickly without any SLA breach • Verifying the operational quality of code before delivery. • Taking care of work load of the team by distributing work among team members • Manage expectation of the client and provide regular status updates • Build a team culture that offers high-performance, winning together, good relevant skills and trust. • Be the point of contact for any grievances in the team. Resolve such grievances through active interest and participation. Learning and Growth (20%) • Should be able to support services with deviser technology after going through trainings / Knowledge Transfer sessions • Providing guidance and assistance to colleagues Person Specification • Excellent technical skills (MDM, WAS, Java, Oracle, Unix shell scripting). • In depth knowledge of how IT services can be delivered most effectively and able to use this knowledge to meet organization’s goals • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style for multiple levels and different audiences. • Excellent analytical skills and an ability to solve issues. • Has a high level of drive, energy and passion that motivates and inspires others • Ability to lead / guide team during crisis /critical situations For the position apply to: cvLT@strategicstaff.com Only selected candidates will be contacted.
