Darbo pobūdis:
Danske Bank Group is the largest bank in Denmark and one of the leading financial enterprises in northern Europe. It employs over twenty thousand people across fifteen countries in three business units: Personal Banking, Business Banking and Corporates & Institutions. Danske Markets is the investment banking unit within Corporates & Institutions, and our goal is to set new standards within financial services.

The Securities IT team is responsible for building and integrating the next generation of trading applications for our Fixed Income and Equities business.

The Securities IT platform is a combination of in-house developed systems and external vendor products. The System Owners are responsible for the external vendor suite, ensuring that the solutions and systems we have in place are fit for purpose to support the business flow.

We are looking for a business focused technologist who are familiar with enterprise management of applications running on the Windows platform. We take price in delivering state-of-the-art, value adding solutions to our business stakeholders. Although the position is based in Copenhagen, we work in a distributed team of about 30 technologists so effective communication and collaboration is critical to achieving our objectives.

* Complete ownership from a technical perspective of some of the vendor products, and ensuring the solutions we have in place are 'fit for purpose' to support the intended business flow.
* Being the technical expert on the suite of applications and have a thorough understanding of the business flow it supports. We are not expecting the candidate to understand the business flows on day 1, but over time, it is critical to build up this knowledge. This will ensure the Application Owner can have constructive conversations with the users about how best to optimize existing and implement new functionality.
* Coordinate and handle maintenance tasks, upgrades, improvements and optimization. E.g. this could be speaking to a vendor about a bug fix, talking delivery of the software, installing it in the test environment, test it, and finally deploy it to our users.
* Install and configure new components as well as retiring old ones. E.g., the platform may support connectivity to some markets. Additional software components may need to be installed to support new markets, and similarly components may need to be retired of we stop trading on a given market.
* Secure a fruitful working relationship between business users, operations, infrastructure teams and the Securities IT team.
* Solve complex tasks with simple solutions, while keeping the overall picture and dependencies in mind.
* Participate in 2nd/3rd level support (20%).
